Eddy Ekpo is a self-taught multimedia artist. With a notable presence in past BIPOC exhibitions, Eddy’s work dives into the depths of his psyche, drawing inspiration from personal experiences, past trauma, and life as an observer.
Having established roots in Salt Lake for over six years, Eddy reflects on his journey as a Nigerian artist in Utah as a challenging yet fulfilling endeavor. He has actively sought to push the boundaries within the cultural landscape, defining his unique voice amidst the local artistic narrative. Embracing a diverse range of art forms, including photography, digital art, painting, poetry, and storytelling, Eddy’s creative expression knows no limits as he seeks to convey his message through various mediums.
